Ultimo / Haymarket

We were tossing up whether we should drive north to get away from the throngs of people enjoying their new found freedom or go into the thick of it.  We decided on a compromise and went to Ultimo in search of "new" buildings (ie. ones we've not bothered to seek out yet - including Frank Gehry's 2015 "paper bag" - see extra) and not so busy streets to walk along.

The building was much closer to Paddy's Market than we realised and,  as it was blowing a gale, we decided to go inside and... yes... bought some fish.

I've still got a bit to learn about getting the right depth of field on wide open aperture shots - better do some reading... but that always seems like cheating to me - I know what to do.... sometimes you just can't shoot at f1.4 - it's that simple Sam - unless you've got a camera with built in focus stacking I guess - but that's definitely cheating ;)
