The Skylark Inn

I needed to get out today, if only for a couple of hours. Twenty minutes from home, this is the Skylark Inn at Clearbrook on the edge of Dartmoor. The Inn sign has a picture of the skylark. The song of the skylark high above the open moor, is one of joys of Spring.
In the nearby woods, I was again on the look-out for fungi. This one (see extra) looked to me a bit like shortcrust pastry pie. Perhaps a rabbit pie? At one time rabbit pie would probably have been a common dish in many Dartmoor Inns.
