True Colours

This single stem revealing its identity.

I'd seen it (extra) earlier in the year as a green shoot and marvelled at a climber creeping north when the others were heading south.  Clean forgot I'd put in a cutting of Virginia Creeper.  Wonder if it's orienting to the vertical walls of the house (which lie straight ahead if it keeps going)?
