A wet walk in Vancouver

I decided that I had to venture out despite the rain. I am, after all, a traveller. So out I went.

A walk around the streets of Vancouver, to Chinatown and back through Gastown. I find these Canadian street scenes of nothing in particular rather pleasing. Look at all the information; the street signs; the traffic lights; the symmetry of the solid buildings and wide boulevards. Reassuring and calm on a day like today’s hen there was hardly anyone around.

I was pretty wet when I returned to my hotel. Let’s hope that the rain stops soon.
