I found this statue in Temple Quay, Bristol while gorilla hunting and photographed it to show alongside the Wow! Gorilla version, please have a look if you haven't already done so. Please note that he also is sans cigar, probably for technical reasons rather than political correctness.

The Brunel family has a lot in common with the Stevenson family, Robert Louis considering himself something of a failure compared with the rest of his family. While the Brunels concentrated on railways, which must have included bridge building, the Stevensons did lighthouses, building structures that resisted wind and wave for over a hundred years while their foundations were below mean sea level.
