Dramathon

A friend was participating in the Dramathon today.  A marathon distance run from the Glenfarclas Distillery and ending at the Glenfiddich Distillery. 

My marathon running days are far behind me, in fact they never arrived. Nevertheless we decided to participate in the 2021 Dramathon to the extent of having a nice lunch at the Mash Tun  in Aberlour. Here we saw the runners passing through Aberlour to start their final 10 Kms, mostly uphill, to the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown.

Having finished lunch we made it over to Glenfiddich by car for the finish.  I heard someone say there were 1200 participants, of which around 300  did the full marathon distance.

At the completion of the run each participant received a miniature bottle of whisky from each distillery they passed. Our friend received eight miniatures having done the full distance.

Personally I think it is easier to go to a shop and buy the miniatures. So I did buy three at the Glenfiddich shop.
