"I'll Have Fries"

We had a very quiet day spent leisurely walking in the morning and sitting on the beach for most of the afternoon reading and watching the ferries go in and out.

Late afternoon, I noticed a female mallard down the beach from us and went to have a look.  She was very busy cleaning up some French Fries that were spilled on the otherwise empty and pristine beach.  

I captured a few other birds that hung out with us during the afternoon including a gull doing an angel imitation as well as a pile of shells that we saw on our morning walk which were clearly placed and arranged on a rock.  If you have the time, check out the extras.

Very late afternoon on the beach is my favorite.
