Start Point Ruins & Starlings

A pleasant cycle around Sanday, though it was quiet birdwise. The only warbler was a female blackcap. I hadn't checked the tide but it was incoming when I reached Start Point. So that was the End as far as visiting the lighthouse was concerned. I watched seals in the deepening channel as the seemed to play at fighting the curent, then letting themselves be pushed back. They kept an eye on me, (extra).
