Green flag award

I paid a visit to Portswood Rec today. I read in the local news that it has been awarded a ‘green flag’ award so thought I’d have a look at it. There are a group of people who’ve been putting in a lot of effort to improving the green space and have added lots of plants and flowers as well as a bug hotel. Here is a shot across the main part of the park with a view of the trees in the autumn sunshine.
