A Challenge

We visited our friends Paddy and Gordon in Sheffield today. Some friends of theirs had ordered this book for them from Amazon, not realizing that it was in Dutch. They don’t read Dutch. Droog speaks and reads it well; I’m just beginning to learn it. Paddy and Gordon gave it to us, with the request that we read it and give them a synopsis, as they don’t want to embarrass their friends by revealing the error; I can see that my immediate future involves a Dutch-English dictionary.
