Moonrise

We said goodbye to our friends this morning and headed for home.  I do hope the next time we see them M will have had a hip operation.  She has suffered for many years now before seeing a doctor and has just been told that she should expect one at the beginning of next year since it is so advanced.

We had an easy journey back home where we spent a hectic few hours cleaning the house and getting a food delivery before our daughter and family arrived.  Our grandson had been sick in the car and was quickly relieved of his old clothes.  They think he may be getting car sickness as it happened last week as well.  About half an hour later our daughter cut her finger, not badly I hasten to add but its a typical arrival scene.  Once everyone had recovered we went for a quick walk down to the beach where our grandson enjoyed some walking around and a short play in the playground.  The sun was beginning to set and the moon rising over the sea.  We tried pointing out the moon but weren't sure if Lucas really saw it.

It was then back home for dinner and a catch up.  I'm a bit behind on blip myself but will try to slowly catch up with everyone.
