Fourteen years ago he passed away. These mums were on every table in a 4" pot at the wake as a decoration to add a little brightness to such a sad day. I took it home and planted it in a larger pot. It lived but did not thrive. This spring I moved it to the butterfly garden. It has tripled in size and is just breath taking. I always think of him and his wife, who is my best friend during this time of year. These mums keep them close all year around.
