Icicle Easter Eggs ;-)

On my route to Alkmaar just before easter weekend, I passed the Uitgeester lake where the waves were beating the lower shore at a freezing temperature.

The result was a strip of white and transparant billiard-ball sized and shaped icicles.

?I've never ever seen anything like these mini boulders ever before in my life, stand alone at almost April! A retired lady who was also making pictures, told me that she lived on the lake front and hadn't seen anything like this since 1982.
