Telly Doofer!!

What do you call it in your house!? In the early 1950's the Zenith Radio Corporation invented the first television remote control, known as "Lazy Bones". However it still used a cable. In 1956 Robert Adler invented the first wireless remote control for Zenith and named it "Space Control".  I can remember the first TV we had growing up had fierce buttons you had to press to change channels and it was very easy to get your finger caught!
