Leaves on the Line

The footbridge at the location of Spencer Road Halt on the former railway from Woodside to Selsdon.  Spencer Road Halt closed in 1915 and the  line closed to passengers in 1983.  A short section of track between Selsdon and the footbridge was retained to serve the Selsdon Oil Siding and this closed in 1993. The tracks are still in place but are heavily overgrown and the footbridge was even refurbished a couple of years ago.
