So got a WA at 07:35, can my electrician come at 09:00 hrs instead of tomorrow. Even better. Quick rush to move things, and put sheets out.

The LED wall fittings installed on moving in have integrated bulbs. When they fail, as another has, the complete fitting needs replacing. At the time LEDs lights were relatively new on the market, and there was limited choice. I had 6 of these (3 rooms). 2 so far have gone, and as each was part of a pair, have had to invest in 4 new ones. And pay the electrician to fit the replacement.

The good news, they are from Ikea, and the electrician is a decent bloke. More importantly, the new one is 1000% better, a good reading light.

Had the Booster a couple of days ago. We went to enquire as 6 mths up. They weren’t overrun and told us to ‘walk in’. Had been stressing as we have a couple of future commitments and didn’t want to worry about feeling under the weather (was so tired after the 1st Covid, and the flu jab).

Felt absolutely fine on Saturday. Tiredness set in last night. Went to Boscombe p.m for Mr B’s bread. Returned tired. So early night.

My wall reading light is for Laurie’s Mono Monday Challenge. “ Electroluminescence as a phenomenon was discovered in 1907 by the English experimenter H. J. Round of Marconi Labs, using a crystal of silicon carbide and a cat's-whisker detector. Russian inventor Oleg Losev reported creation of the first LED in 1927.” (Wikipedia)
