Afternoon Tea

We finally got round to treating J for her birthday with an afternoon tea at Mariage Freres in Covent Garden.  Mr C and I found this French tea room during the summer when we stopped for a cold drink and didn’t know what the food would be like but we were not disappointed. It was delicious and different to the usual fayre of food. With a choice of about 800 teas, we all selected different ones. I couldn’t finish all my cakes or scones so brought a doggy bag home :-)
