I need a waterproof camera

Scotland trip day 20 Golspie.

We headed inland today and took a drive out to Loch Brora, autumn was certainly showing  her colours at last, trees turning red and the bracken a lovely rustic brown. 

A single track road takes us up over a bridge and round a bend and straight in front we encounter a herd of Highland Coos, after stopping to take photo’s Mr PC tried to shoo them off the road but they were not budging, eventually a van stopped and a man managed to shift them. 

We carry on alongside the loch when we spot these amazing fungi by the roadside .

We had intended to visit Dunrobin Castle but by now the rain has started so we stopped at Golspie to have our lunch, the rain finally stopped so we had a walk along the beach and around the small harbour, well I did need my boat fix.

We return to Brora to fill up with fuel and an essential visit to the ice cream parlour.

Our last evening here as we move on tomorrow.
