In Theory

We ate out in Carlisle for tea, completely wild for a Monday night.  I Blipped R on the way past the Cathedral, heading to her driving theory test.   The Christmas lights were going up in town, much to L's satisfaction.

D is up in Thurso. In theory he's back mid week, but things change by the hour.

(She passed!)

Compulsory testing for all drivers and riders was introduced in June 1935.   First theory test for drivers was in 1996.  Not exactly an invention for Mono Monday's 19th Century inventions theme, but its probably saved a fair few lives since.
