Year-Round Pineapple Sage

For the first 20-odd years that the pineapple sage was growing in this position its flowers opened in summer and it kept on blooming until the plant was cut back by frosts in late autumn or early winter. Then  it was dormant for about 4 months before sprouting new leaves in spring. For the last 3 years, however, it has flowered all year round. This is the most obvious example of climate change in my garden.
