You don’t see many of these jolly fat butcher chaps anymore.
Probably because you don’t see as many butchers anymore since supermarkets sucked the soul out of the high street & convinced a whole generation that the limited choice was what they wanted & that asparagus from Peru in October was a valid lifestyle choice. After all people need convenience & speed of shopping to allow them time to watch ‘Z list Celebrity bollocks on ice’.
I really am turning into/ have become a grumpy old fart.
