Pure clear colour

6.7C with blue sky and some white cloud. Light breeze. Brightness !

Maeve the Deerhound and I have been round our regular route. Up by the church and along the country road. Into the field with the bridle path with a stop to look around the three trailers sitting part loaded with the last of the bales next to the ploughed part of the field. Down to the shore and across the level crossing and down to the beach.

High tide, so a very narrow beach. Not a soul in sight so we wandered out along the beach and the back along to the Fishermen's huts with several stops just to look out to sea and enjoy the blue and the light.

The owner of 'Shamara II' was working beside his boat. All the tarpaulins are off and the tractor is hooked up to the front. Can't be long before he will be out on the water with his creels.

I took quite a few shots today. Trailers in the field, long views over the fields to the sea, shots along the beach, shots from the Fishermen's huts and the cottages with foreground interest and the sea. I kept coming back to this simple shot with a hint of beach and a lot of sea and sky. I decided it was the one. It was the reason we stopped and looked several times as we walked along the beach. The colour was back :-)
