Grey Heron

The young one was waiting for me this morning on the loch viewing platform (see extra). To the left of the shot a woman was taking her photo. As I got near she jumped down to the right to meet me. I don't think the woman could believe it. I started feeding her then heard the sound of the Swans and Cygnets flying down. Then the gulls. The adult Swans kept their distance but one of the cygnets was going to attempt a nip but thought the better of it. The young one was much more confident today and just stepped out the way of anything that came close. She had all her fish and then stayed looking up the loch.
