Sky on Fire

It was supposed to rain all day today. But the sun came out and decided to stay. So we abandoned our indoor plans and went out for a run in the car. We headed up into the hills to small towns where we had once been regular visitors, drawn by superb local restaurants. Sadly those restaurants have gone to the wall, courtesy of Covid. The sky did its best to cast light and colour on the château at Lacapelle-Marival, but sadness hung over this town in the sunshine. La Terrasse will be missed.
