Covid travel Australian style

72 hr test done, prep for 2 week quarantine done, and permits for travel in NSW and VIC received, (but I think no longer necessary), in order to drive to Melbourne tomorrow and fly to NZ on Sunday to see my mum.
Its been quite a bureaucratic adventure over 6 weeks to get to this point so here’s hoping no other random covid events intervene. Husband and daughter don’t have NZ passports so sadly not part of this adventure. Coming back has potential to be a challenging episode all of its own …
