Living in the Season

I worked on this book for over a year and it is finally here.  There are many seasons in Maine, like the Rusting Season which we are about to enter and each one has a different feel and a different smell to it.  Each season also offers new photographic possibilities.  The Wheel of the Year turns slowly but surely and we all participate in its circular dance.  We may change partners from time to time but the dance never ends.  "Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit and resign yourself to the influence of the earth." - Henry David Thoreau.
