Day 295/21. HMS Prince of Wales

The UK's second aircraft carrier, HMS Prince of Wales, in dock in Portsmouth Harbour today. You get some appreciation of how wide the carrier deck is in this picture. The second image today is a head on shot again showing the width of the huge vessel.
In the second image today you can see the Police launch that guards her against boats that get too close 24 hours a day.
Her sister ship the HMS Queen Elizabeth is currently bobbing around in the Pacific on a 6 month deployment.
