Inkcap the fungus

A day of lots of sorting things sort of...

We started with our energy company from our previous house which we left 15 months ago who appear to have set the debt collectors on us for money we were convinced we did not owe.  We finally got through to the original suppliers and they agreed with us that we only owed them £24, not £600.  They couldn't explain what had gone wrong but we paid them the £24 and they have now closed our account and told the other company to stop pestering us.

Second was a conversation with an architect who has done some sketches for us for a porch on the front of the house.  We are very poeased  with his suggestions - just 1 or 2 things to tweak.

Then Mr Tesco arrived with grocer delivery - all was well except they had no Hovis bread so alternatives were supplied.  All ok.

Then I joined a Zoom meeting of the Worcestershire Carers' Association which I am thinking about getting a little more involved with.  They have already been very helpful and I am rather impressed with the work they do.

Then we decided to go to look for a blip at Coughton Court.  Took to the country lanes as we dropped a few things off at the hospital for Dad, called in at a Natural Burial Site to get some information and then went over to Coughton.  Didn't manage any wonderful shots but fortunately we called in at the pharmacy on the way back and found this fungus!  I rather liked it.

The nurse from Dad's ward phoned while I was just about to get some petrol so petrol getting was aborted while I talked to her.  She said that Dad is medically fit to come home but then we talked about how he is coping and agreed that she would investigate getting a small care package put in place for him to help him with personal care in the morning.  So he will stat for a short time longer to see what can be sorted out.  They have also completed the Respect form with him.

I like days when things seem to get done or at least some progress is made with them...
