To Edinburgh

A leaving do for a good colleague, who is off to work with the Church. God bless her, she will do well for them. A splendid relaxed lunch, with relaxed amounts of beer and wine.
The first thing I spotted on hitting the street in Edinburgh earlier, was the new glass monstrosity dwarfing Ryrie's Bar. Ryrie's featured happily in my life some three decades ago, and I wanted to pop in for old time's sake.
Shut. Derelict. The heart sank.
Hopped on the train home and listened to the Nolan investigation of Stonewall, and stared at the sky.
