Evening sorted

Berry has taken prime position for the evening's entertainment.

We walked Berry in the woods of Hardwick Hall, "Bess of Hardwick's" beautiful Elizabethan home. We've yet to visit the Hall (that's for next Tuesday) but we discovered when visiting LH's mum that it's a great dog/coffee stop on the way to Hull and that side of the family.

So, off we toddled to Hull to see LH's uncle and aunt and cousins for the first time since our big Christmas bash in 2019. His uncle has aged noticeably and cannot walk that far without a good rest which he is struggling to accept (this family is big on staying fit through shank's pony). On the plus side, both their daughters are to hand and it's terrific to see them all looking after each other. Of course we stayed longer than planned!

So we had to ditch the original idea of visiting a motorhome dealer for a quick look around. Might slot that into tomorrow somehow ...
