Looking up.

We spent a wee bit of time watching the night sky instead of going to bed. The photo shows the bright full moon and passing cloud. This obscured the view a bit. Elsewhere, where it was cloudless, we could see the Orionid meteor shower quite clearly. Articles in the scientific media and astronomers were right - there is no need for a telescope or binoculars, the Orionids were bright and visible to the naked eye.

I’m into the last 50 pages of a book; got an email advising the sequel was available from our library - so we walked to there this afternoon. A lovely clean copy; our Council continue to value libraries. Trees along the waters edge and in the park were lovely.

Watched Glasgow rugby game on TV this evening. At same time our older son and his wife were driving to England to collect their new puppy. His sister-in-law’s veterinary practice knows the owner and parent dog; she facilitated it all and will go with them tomorrow etc. Their puppy look lovely In the photos and videos I’ve seen.
