Back Tor

Up early to get to the peak district for our short stay with family in converted farm cottages - drove out to edale to do kinder Scout but we just could not get parking, so drove over to mam tor. Luckily we got a sneaky space. Hiked from mam to back tor and gazed over at where we should have been but lovely bracing walk nonetheless.

Was thinking about what an old lady said who was over 100 years old about memories and going back over all the people she had met in her life, many who had not met each other, but she would introduce them to each other in her mind, for some reason it struck a chord
