The Forth

Took a trip to Stirling this morning and had a lovely hike up Dumyat where there were some great views of the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle, the Trossachs in cloud and some of the Ochills.  Today's blip is of the sky looking dramatic over the Forth, luckily the weather stayed fine though it was super blustery on the top. 

Went to town and got a cracking lunch from Gabe's diner in Stirling - their open Halloumi sandwach with avocado and balsamic strawberries was totally delicious. I've realised that Dobbies Garden Centres are an entire shopping experience on their own and got a pestle and mortar, a vegetable cushion and some wax for my walking boots all from the same place...

Had some lovely news that my best friend S had her baby yesterday! I got a bit emotional when the message came through whilst eating my sandwich but great to know mum and baby are doing well.
