Blea Tarn and the Langdales

Last day of the workshop, and great (pleasant!) weather at last, though pretty cold. We headed to Blea Tarn, and despite a fairly early start, got the last places in the car park.

We had some great light, and by late morning, had a few clouds to break up the blue sky. Later in the afternoon, some of the group took a walk up the side of Lingmoor fell (not to the top) to get this elevated view of Blea Tarn and the Langdales. It's actually taken from a path I've never walked up before, so it's a new viewpoint for me!

And  ... it was used on this evening's Border Weather forecast!

Also a very happy 17th Birthday to Blipfoto - what would we do without this wonderful haven.
