Spotted this grey heron...

... as I wandered around Cheltenham's Pittville Park this morning. 

I was glad I'd  brought along the lens extender, so I could photograph the bird from the opposite side of the lake.

I must apologise for my lack of comments due to poor/ non-existent Internet access. I will catch up when I can.
