The final tomato

I decided that these tomatoes would do better indoors so picked the last of the crop. I will give them a few days indoors to see if they ripen at all and then make a chutney with them I think. Not as good a crop this year over all but we had a few weeks with plenty of cherry tomatoes on demand and the orange ones were just delicious.  The larger ones were a waste of time.. not that tasty and they didn't get very big and produced very few ripe tomatoes. Must remember the varieties.. I grew one orange cherry (given a plant) one larger tomato and a cherry plum tomato.. the plums had tough skins and were not that prolific.
Amazing to think we are in the last week of October.. still not that cold but too late to keep these outside.
