New

This afternoon we went to a bike shop. We went to buy CyclopsJnr and cyclops a new helmet each. CyclopsJnr's current helmet has started to come apart so he needed a new one. Cyclops realised he'd not had a new one in years. So two new helmets were chosen. We also saw this reflective jacket on sale so we snapped that up.

We have been contemplating the next bike for CyclopsJnr so it was handy to sit him on a couple of bikes to size him up. We are thinking CyclopsJnr is due a growth spurt though, so we are wanting the bike to be right post-spurt. The shop assistant was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and he was of the same thought as us, that we should err on the side of bigger for a very confident rider. He said that with two inches more height we could get an XXS adult bike and he felt that might be better for CyclopsJnr's needs. So we will probably do that.

After that, CyclopsJnr and MrsCyclops went swimming, which was great.

Oh, and thankfully CyclopsJnr let me cut his hair. It is still long on top, but now it looks tidier round the sides - more intentional and less Boris.
