Hot cross buns!

I made a dozen an a half yesterday after watching the Easter bake off prog on tuesday evening......that Paul Hollywood might be a bit of knob, but he is kind to Mary Berry and he knows how to make a decent bun.

Anyway there;s three of the originals left so obviously I have had to make more .....mini ones this time!

Seriously, if you make your own then follow his recipe with the apple in, it takes them up a notch to super delish and they really have got a much nicer texture. I am a convert!

Hollywood's recipe, I will say though I always shine them up with sugar syrup never jam!

I am not the only blipper to be easter baking either, Eternal Optimist has been at it too!
