Four!

It’s Mx’s 4th birthday on Monday so he’s having a weekend of celebrations…this morning he had friends round and lots of games etc, then we arrived for the family chat and presents and what remained of his treasure chest cake (extra), tomorrow they’re going to Warwick castle, and on his actual birthday they’re going trampolining with him.
This morning I had a long lie in then nipped to the shops to get some things to make desserts for the party (despite trying to be a bit more original I reverted to lemon crunch pie and a fruit salad for the vegans!) then we had sausage and bacon wraps for a late breakfast once T had woken up. He seems to be managing the nights at work ok especially when it’s busy and is also still doing a few bits of gardening although not having so much time for that. He grabs a snooze when he can though (extra)!
The afternoon flew past….lots of fun and Mx seemed to love his ‘molten-troll’ monster truck but was a bit scared of the talking Batman helmet…so the adults wore it (extra).
Home and after T went to work Kt and I chilled on the sofa…she was feeling a bit dodgy and I was tired, but nothing on how tired Mt&H must be feeling after today!
