Inform Brit. Museum London S.W.7

We're on big spring tides at the moment and down at the beach we found lots of dead sea birds spread out along the high tide mark.

This was a cormorant/shag with a couple of metal tags. One numbered and asking to inform the British Museum, London. In addition we saw at least 3 puffins, plus guillemots and others. All with a small section of the coast.

I'm guessing here but may have something to do with the extended cold weather with no real sign of anything warming up. Knocking on to food supply and food chains for the sea birds at the end of the winter
