Dunmallard Hill

Back in Cumbria we went to Pooley Bridge to bag another Wainwright Outlying Fell. A very small peak (240m) by Cumbrian standards but high compared with our last two efforts.
This is Mr P approaching the summit after a short stroll up the hill.   Very high risk of rain today which is why we chose this tree covered lump but wondered why Mr Wainwright bothered  - see extra . #65 out of 116; over half way

And I should add that there used to be a iron age hillfort on the top, maybe before all the trees were planted.
