Family time

We met up with family from Stockport, Hull and Lichfield for a good (if drizzly) walk and then a very good Sunday roast lunch at the pub. Here we all are, well exercised and well fed, just before we had to go our separate ways.

In keeping with family tradition, we managed to go a different route to the one on our guide. This always happens when more than one 'leader' has a say in matters but at least we arrived in time for food and no one got too aerated about it. In fact it made our day as all good walks require an element of surprise; who wants to stick to the beaten track?!
