Gherkin

My son’s little flat has an amazing nighttime view, with an eyeful of the Gherkin. Spectacular as it is, we had a long discussion about the impact on emissions of having so much lighting on round the clock in buildings like this, for what good purpose?

Didn’t have time for a blip today so had to pinch this one from yesterday’s trip to London.

Must admit I’m quite tired from yesterday but a big load of sweet chestnuts that had fallen into my garden from my neighbour’s monster tree needed binning today for the green bin collection in the morning. Job done!
