Grace Worship Team

We’re trying to get into some semblance of a routine to our week, so Sundays starts off quietly and slowly with reading, coffee and occasional chatting. Then we have copied the Wilson tradition of grapefruit and croissants with marmalade and coffee for a leisurely breakfast.
The day’s activities are mundane and slow - whatever comes to our notice. I did a bit of casual garden pruning here and there of areas I might have missed yesterday when the bulk of the work was done. I enjoy walking in the garden more when I don’t get distracted by the amount of work that needs to be done!
Then Daniel came round for a visit and some snacks whilst watching the Grand Prix and the highlights of the Liverpool game that David had watched earlier.
In the evening we were invited to attend the retirement service being held for the senior pastor of the church, that our kids and grandkids are a part of. We wanted to give them a retirement gift and card so we went to the worship part of the service. If you can zoom in you will see three members of our family on stage. Daniel on keyboards on the far right, Rachelle singing on the far left and Mayson playing guitar in the middle. It was a lively, rousing song that was being sung in the blip.
Then we went for a walk round our local lake as the sun set. A nice end to a relaxing day!
