Apple watch

Last week Daan received his new Apple watch. He bought it himself from his first salary. He was so proud of it!

But.....yesterday, after he'd been wearing it for only 3 days, on his way home from school, a stupid speeding car cut him (and a friend) off in a bend and both boys fell off their bikes. Daans arm and watch landed on the asphalt and crushed his brand new watch. Lars, his friend, ripped his pants and had some damage on his bike. By the time they got up their feet, the car was long gone of course. 

Daan came home in tears with his broken watch.
I was at the office when I got an app from Annemarie with this photo and story. 
I felt so sorry for him, I immediately ordered a new one online. When Daan was told about this by Annemarie, he was in tears again.

This all happened yesterday, and today the box with his new watch was delivered already. All the tears are gone now.
