France - Day 7

A drive up to St Michel de Cuxa and then a wonderful walk along the canal above it - see blips three and four.  It is a magical walk, with lots of old little bridges across.  It was a very pleasant two hours

Driving back down throug Codalet there was this flock of sheep being closely watched by two Pyrenean Mountain Dogs.  Unlike sheepdogs in the UK, they stay with the flock on their own.  I stopped the car and got out to take some photos and one of the dogs came bounding over to the field by the side of the road and herded all the sheep to the other side of the field.  Having done that he ambled back to his mate, and by the swagger of his bottom I think he felt quite pleased with himself!
