Unexpected bird watching experience while we were at the tip this morning! This little chap was watching as everybody arrived with their rubbish - maybe he was hoping someone was going to get rid of some food his way!

Bit of food shopping for us this morning, followed by a walk at a Canvey nature reserve.  Saw a couple of curlews, an egret, ducks and a heron but slim pickings otherwise! We also had good fun watching the large container ships being escorted along the Thames to the container ports.

Lovely sunny day too and mild! Mad weather!
