I managed to order heating oil today and because we were so low they delivered at lunchtime, great service. Unfortunately the system is air locked so no heating on yet.  I also found a plumber(apparently a heating engineer these days) who is coming tomorrow to fix a leaking water tank so I feel I am making some progress however he is not coming to fix the Rayburn. 
The majority of the day was spent at home behind the computer catching up with emails.
