Blip shows our evening meal - Slow Cookers are great when you have a busy day - our supply run is always on a Monday - busier this week as the children are on half-term.

Irving Nachumsohn an inventor received the patent for the device that became the Crock-Pot on 23 January 1940 - the Slow Cooker was invented by him to cook 'Cholent' a traditional stew eaten by Jews in Eastern Europe on the Sabbath
