Pumpkin Night, Oh Yes It's Pumpkin Night

This is Me, Merrick, and Merrick's daddy Doug. It was only the boys carving this year. We didn't have enough gourds for the girls (wife Lisa and daughter Karen) to join in, and they didn't seem to care. Hmm.

With Merrick in football every night, we were going to have a rough time fitting the carving in. But, we had rain all day long, so practice got cancelled. So, it turned into a pizza and pumpkin night.

At 9:30 this morning, there were 3 does in our backyard, but all I could shoot was legs. I ran upstairs, had the same problem...so I shot the 4th doe in my neighbor's yard. 

Don't tell Lisa, but I was hoping the 3 deer in our yard would venture up to the patio to eat the rest of her flowers.
